First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) has finally received approval to change it’s name to”First Holdco plc”.
On 14th November at the Annual General Meeting (AGM),the Bank announced this in a notice signed by the Company’s acting Secretary ,Adewale Arogundade.This request was approved wholeheartedly.
In a statement released over the weekend , Adewale the Company’s Secretary, confirmed that the resolution extends to all by issuing FBN holdings’subsidiaries .
According to the company this change must be effective in all subsidiaries.
The approved change includes, shifting the Company ‘s name from FBN holdings plc to First Holdco plc and it’s brand name to First Holdco .
The following statement from First bank reads,”That there should be change of the Legal and brand names of the company from FBN holdings plc and FBN holdings to First Holdco plc and First Holdco respectively ,this motion therefore commenced on the 18th November 2024.
